The authors compare the H-basis concept and the Gröbner basis concept. They present H-bases constructions and discuss their properties and some applications of the H-basis to the solution of polynomial systems. The last two sections are dedicated to computing polynomial zeros by eigenvectors and multivariate polynomial interpolation.
