Properties of pseudoholomorphic curves in symplectisations. I: Asymptotics (Q1814672): Difference between revisions

This is a report on the progress of an ongoing work on the properties of pseudoholomorphic curves in symplectisations following on from previous reports [the authors, Geom. Funct. Anal. 5, No. 2, 270-328 (1995; Zbl 0845.57027) and the first named author, Invent. Math. 114, No. 3, 515-563 (1993; Zbl 0797.58023)]. The work in the present report is mainly concerned with establishing an asymptotic formula by considering the dynamics of the Reeb vector field.
