The author gives a more elementary proof of a theorem, which was proved by Gelfand-Kapranov-Zelevinsky in 1990, concerning the irreducibility of a system of A-hypergeometric differential equations. Almost at the same time, Schulze and Walter proved the same theorem, without the Cohen-Macauly property and the homogeneity condition.
