The basic result of this paper is the following Theorem: There is complex structure on the connected sum of 25 copies of \(S^ 3 \times S^ 3\) with trivial canonical bundle. This result partially answers a problem raised by \textit{R. Friedman} [Proc. Symp. Pure Math. 53, 103-134 (1991; Zbl 0753.14035), p. 130].
