In this note the authors give a sharp distortion estimate for a uniformly locally univalent holomorphic function on the unit disk in terms of the norm of the pre-Schwarzian derivative. They also investigate the growth of coefficients and integral means of such functions, and mention a connection with Hardy spaces. Finally, they give norm estimates for some typical classes of univalent functions.
