Due to an error by the publisher, the editorial in honor of Dr. Alexander Ivanovich Leontiev's 80th birthday published in this journal [ibid. 51, No. 3--4, 397--398 (2005; doi:10.1016/j.ijheatmasstransfer.2007.08.002)] included the incorrect heading ``In Memoriam''. This editorial, ``Academician Alexander Ivanovich Leontiev on his 80th birthday'', should have utilized the heading ``In Celebration''. We apologize for any misunderstanding and concern that this error may have caused. Once again, we wish Dr. Leontiev a very happy 80th birthday. A corrected version of the editorial directly follows this announcement.
