The authors of this paper first introduce the concepts of a Markov process, of a \(q\)-process, and of a \(q\)-matrix in a random environment, and then construct a so-called minimal \(q\)-process in a random environment. Moreover, the authors give some necessary and sufficient conditions for the uniqueness of a \(q\)-process in a random environment.
