There are considered two self-similar tiling systems satisfying the finite pattern condition, with respective stretching factors \(\lambda_1\) and \(\lambda_2\). It is proved that if \(\lambda_1\) and \(\lambda_2\) have a common factor which is a nonperiodic tiling system, then they are multiplicatively dependent.
