Applying the contraction map theorem, the author studies the global asymptotic stability for the linear system in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) with delays of the following form: \[ \dot{x}(t) = \sum_{i=0}^r A_ix(t - r_i) + \sum_{i=0}^r \widetilde {A}_i(t)\,x(t - r_i). \] These results are extended to the case of a similar type linear controlled system, where the control is generated according to the feedback linear control law.
