Summary: We investigate the global behaviour of the difference equation of higher order \(x_{n+1}=\alpha +x_{n - m}/x_{n}^{k}, n=0,1,\dots,\) where the parameters \(\alpha ,k\in (0,\infty )\) and the initial values \(x_{ - m},x_{ - (m - 1_{)}},\dots ,x_{ - 2},x_{-1},\) and \(x_{0}\) are arbitrary positive real numbers.
