Summary: We study the simple eigenvectors of two hypomorphic matrices using linear algebra. We also give new proofs of results of \textit{C.D. Godsil} and \textit{B.D. McKay} [J. Comb. Theory, Ser. B 30, 285--289 (1981; Zbl 0394.05035)].
