The author studies a system \(-\varepsilon\Delta u+V(x)u=f(u),\) in \(\mathbb R^{N},\;(N\geq 3),\;u>0,\;u(x)\rightarrow 0\), as \(|u|\rightarrow\infty\). Under appropriate conditions, the existence, multiplicity and shape of positive solution is obtained.
