The authors study the fast convolution with the free space Helmholtz Green's function. They first give appropriate definitions and notations, and then formulate and state the main results as the main two theorems. Later the authors out line the proofs of these theorems by organizing them as a sequence of propositions with technical details given in the Appendix. In addition the authors construct quadratures in the Fourier domain for the efficient application of radically symmetric kernels. A fast algorithm for applying Green's function is described. Examples are given to illustrate the theory discussed.
