About the statistical uniform convergence (Q1017986)

The concept of statistical convergence was introduced by \textit{H. Fast} [Colloq. Math. 2, 241--244 (1951; Zbl 0044.33605)]. The authors study the concept of statistical uniform convergence and generalize some results on uniform convergence in double sequences to the statistical convergence. They introduce the concepts of strong statistical convergence and strongly statistical Cauchy sequence. Moreover, a basic matrix theorem for statistical convergence is proved.
