Interpolation norms between row and column spaces and the norm problem for elementary operators (Q1020926)

The paper considers estimates for the norm of elementary operators in the non-discrete case. More exactly, the author considers the transformers acting as \(X \to \int_{\Omega} \mathcal{A}_{t} X \mathcal{B}_t \,d\mu (t)\) on the space of bounded Hilbert space operators. He gives formulae for the norm on the Hilbert-Schmidt class and presents some estimates of the norm on the other Schatten classes.
