According to \textit{J. Kahn} [Math. Z. 175, 219--247 (1980; Zbl 0433.06013)], the full bundle theorem holds in a Laguerre plane if and only if the Laguerre plane is ovoidal. The author shows that the special form \(\mathfrak{B}1^2\) of the bundle theorem implies all other forms of the bundle theorem; thus also \(\mathfrak{B}1^2\) characterizes the ovoidal Laguerre planes.
