The main result of the paper is the following: there exists a semifield \(A\) of order \(q^4\), where \(q\) is a power of 2, such that \(A\) contains \(\text{GF}(q^2)\) in its left-nucleus and admits a four-group of automorphisms isomorphic to \(\mathbb Z_2\times \mathbb Z_2\), acting freely on \(A\).
