In this note, the authors prove the existence of a Nash equilibrium for some strategic games. These games have compact strategy sets, quasiconcave payoff functions and are ``better-reply secure''. Altogether, the result is very similar to, but weaker than, the result in \textit{P. J. Reny} [Econometrica 67, No.~5, 1029--1056 (1999; Zbl 1023.91501)]. The proof is simple and based on a Fan-Browder type theorem.
