The main result of the paper under review is Theorem 2.1: For any noncompact second countable locally compact group \(G\), the convolution algebra \(\mathcal N(L_p(G))\) of nuclear operators on \(L_p(G)\), \(p\in (1,\infty)\), is left but not right strongly Arens irregular.
