Observations about equicontinuity and related concepts (Q1032954)

The notions of compact equicontinuity and compact topological equicontinuity of a family \(\mathcal F\) of mappings between topological spaces \(X\) and \(Y\) are introduced. Their relations with other, known notions of equicontinuity are discussed. Some applications to the case \(X\) a semitopological group, \(Y\) a (para)topological group, and \(\mathcal F\) the family of group homomorphisms from \(X\) to \(Y\), as well as to a version of the Ascoli theorem are given.
