The authors use a change of variable, which they call time transformation, to reduce a time dependent delay differential equation to one with constant delay. First they reduce a time dependent delay differential equation with a non-vanishing delay and an unbounded lag function to a constant delay equation and give two possible applications. Then they present an approach based on time transformation for the superconvergent integration of a delay differential equations with a non-strictly-increasing lag function.
