The paper aims to quantify the dependence of sign of curvature and torsion of planar and spatial nonuniform rational B-splines (NURBS), respectively, on the control points appearing in the NURBS representation. Combining NURBS basis properties with previous work of the authors, the present methodology provides a monotonic sequence of convex polyhedra converging from the interior to the feasibility domain. For non-empty convex domains, a discrete algorithm is presented and illustrated for a pair of planar and a spatial Bézier configuration.
