\textit{A.\,K.\thinspace Mirmostafaee} and \textit{M.\,S.\thinspace Moslehian} [Result.\ Math.\ 52, No.\, 1--2, 161--177 (2008; Zbl 1157.46048)] obtained a generalized version of fuzzy stability of the pexiderized quadratic functional equation \(f(x+y)+f(x-y)=2g(x)+2h(y)\). The main purpose of this paper is to present an alternative proof of the same, which is based on a fixed point method.
