The following forced Lienard type equation \[ x''(t)+f(x(t))x'(t)+g(t,x(t))=e(t) \] is considered. Under certain assumptions, using Manasevich-Mawhin continuation theorem, Floquet theory and Liapunov stability theory, the authors obtain some result on existence of asymptotically stable periodic solutions of this equation.
