This paper is a survey on cluster algebras, cluster categories, cluster tilting objects, with a special focus on the relation between domains of semi-invariants on virtual representation spaces of Dynkin quivers and a simplicial complex obtained from the indecomposable objects with no selfextensions in the cluster category; these latter results are proved by \textit{K. Igusa, K. Orr, G. Todorov, J. Weyman} [Compos. Math. 145, No. 4, 1001-1034 (2009; Zbl 1180.14047)].
