Summary: New travelling wave solutions for the Fornberg-Whitham equation \(u_{t} - u_{xxt}+u_{x}+uu_{x}=uu_{xxx}+3u_{x}u_{xx}\) are investigated. They are characterized by two parameters. The expressions for the periodic and solitary wave solutions are obtained.
