This paper deals with vector fields in \({\mathbb R}^2\) having an equilibrium with non-semisimple eigenvalue zero. The authors present a scalar control law such that in the corresponding closed loop system all bifurcation scenarios appearing in the Takens-Bogdanov bifurcation can be observed.
