The Laplace-Beltrami and Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operators in polar coordinates are investigated. The relation between unitarizing measures and invariant measures for the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator in the Poincare disk is discussed. The Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator in terms of the vector fields of the modular representation is studied.
