This paper presents that are one of the classes of Hermitian self-orthogonal codes may be derived from row spaces of certain generalized weighing matrices, Bhaska Rao designs, and generalized Hadamard matrices, over a finite field of order \(q\). A special case of \(q= 4\) shows that the codes obtained in Theorem 8 of the paper are optimal. These optimal codes are quantum error-correcting codes is interesting.
