The author proves the existence of abundant fractal structures based on the \((2+1)\)- dimensional BK system. It is proved a linearized form of the physical model, by introducing the extended homogeneous balance approach into the \((2+1)\)- dimensional integrable system. Next, the new fractal structures of the model were revealed thanks to the intrusion of the arbitrary functions in the general solution. In Section 3, by using the Weierstrass, Bessel and Jacobian elliptic functions, some interesting fractal structures are produced. The subject is very up to date and the paper is well written.
