In this interesting paper, the oscillatory character of the half-linear differential equation \[ (r(t)\Phi_p(y'))'+c(t)\Phi_p(y)=0 \] is investigated, when \(r\), \(c\) are continuous functions and \[ \Phi_p(u):=| u| ^{p-1}\text{sgn}(u)\tag{\(*\)} \] and \(p>1\). The author obtains his results by using several auxiliary equations produced by \((*)\).
