Using the notion of weak neighbourhoods [cf. \textit{F. Siwiec}, Pac. J. Math. 52, 233--245 (1974; Zbl 0285.54022)], the author introduces and studies the concepts of weak neighbourhood systems between open neighbourhood systems and generalized neighbourhood systems [cf. \textit{Á. Császár}, Acta Math. Hung. 96, No.~4, 351--357 (2002; Zbl 1006.54003)] of weak neighbourhood spaces (independent of neighbourhood spaces of \textit{D. C. Kent} and the author [Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 32, No.~7, 387--399 (2002; Zbl 1004.54002)] and of interior operators, closure operators and continuities.
