The author defines weak continuity for \textit{Á. Császár}'s [Acta Math. Hung. 96, No.~4, 351--357 (2002; Zbl 1006.54003)] generalised topological and neighbourhood spaces. He provides characterisations and properties that are much like the elementary properties of normal continuity.
