Along with other things, this work contains an application of a process which is described earlier in previous works of the authors. More explicitly, the authors apply their process to a compact \(G_{2}\) manifold and they obtain a pair of Borcea-Voisin Calabi-Yau manifolds which are mirror dual to each other.
