On global dimension of Yetter-Drinfel'd Hopf algebras. (Q1047841)

Let \(H\) be a Hopf algebra over a field \(k\). A Yetter-Drinfel'd Hopf algebra over \(H\) is a braided Hopf algebra in the category of Yetter-Drinfel'd modules over \(H\). The main result of this paper states that the global dimension of a Yetter-Drinfel'd Hopf algebra within the category of Yetter-Drinfel'd modules equals the analogous projective dimension of its trivial module. This extends the corresponding result for Hopf algebras, due to \textit{M. E. Lorenz} and \textit{M. Lorenz} [in Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 123, No. 1, 33-38 (1995; Zbl 0826.16037)].
