Andronov-Hopf bifurcation in systems with Preisach operator (Q1048499)

From the text: We examine the Andronov-Hopf bifurcations in systems consisting of the principal linear part and an hysteresis nonlinearity. Conditions for the birth of cycles at an equilibrium state and at infinity are proposed (in the systems under consideration, both bifurcations occur at the same value of the parameter). Under the additional assumption about the dominance of the linear part of the system, one can trace the global cycle branch connecting the equilibrium state with infinity.
