[For part I see ibid. 42, 337-348 (1983; Zbl 0548.54028).] For attractor-repeller pairs in metric spaces as well as for Morse-Smale dynamical systems, various sufficient conditions for the existence of metrics of Lyapunov type are given, i.e. remetrizations of the phase spaces are constructed so that the new metrics describe attraction, repulsion and stability properties of the trajectories.
