The authors have presented a similarity solution for an arrested sediment wedge by using infinite power series expansions for the sediment and velocity distribution functions. The distributions of the eddy diffusivities for momentum and sediment concentration are known. They have restricted their analysis to the case of an arrested sediment wedge in a straight, narrow channel of constant width with variable depth, assuming the flow to be laterally homogeneous. Hydrostatic and Boussinesq approximations are assumed to be valid for the flow considered. In all they have done a good piece of work for furthr reference in the field.
