The author proposes a method of calculating the effective properties of spatially reinforced media, based on averaging of the system of partial differential equations that describes a particular physical process. An asymptotic principle for splitting the averaged operator is formulated. Working formulas for the effective characteristics of the composite are derived from the splitting principle.
