Applications of matrix functions (Q1057961)

For a given square complex matrix A which satisfies \(c(A)=0\) for some polynomial c(z) and for a given linear operator T acting in a suitable function space, the author solves the system of equations \(TY=AY\). The tools are analytic functions of A and solutions \(y(t)=y(\lambda,t)\) of the scalar equation \(Ty=\lambda y\) for any \(\lambda\in {\mathbb{C}}\). The solutions are explicit.
