Adaptive methods of multicriterial optimization (Q1058973)

The article considers man-machine procedures of adaptive multicriterial optimization and elucidates the structure of the man-machine interaction. It is shown that man-machine procedures implement two kinds of adaptation mechanisms: adaptation of the decision-maker to the decision-making problem and adaptation of the search algorithm to the decision-maker's preference system. The main aspects of the algorithms are described and the sequence of actions is presented. A classification of interactive procedures for adaptive multicriterial optimization is proposed.
