A general solution is given for the equations of the theory of elasticity in terms of p-analytic functions for a transversely isotropic body in a non-axisymmetric stress state. This representation was obtained in the author's article, ibid. 47, 89-93 (1983; Zbl 0527.73006) for an isotropic medium. For the transport medium a similar representation is known only for the axisymmetric problem [see \textit{Yu. I. Solov'ev}, ibid. 38, 379- 384 (1974; Zbl 0323.73012)].
