Sci. 32, 607-613 (1984; Zbl 0559.73028).] The variational principle stating that in the equilibrium configuration the potential energy of the body is in minimum is extended to micropolar elastic materials. The elastic micropolar body is assumed to be unbounded. The paper is clearly and well written.
