The present investigation is concerned with a plane problem in a micropolar elastic half space with stretch. The displacement components, force stresses, coupled stresses and first moments are obtained for a half-space subjected to an arbitrary normal load and a particular case of an impulsive line source is studied in detail. The effects of stretch are illustrated numerically for specific models.
