Within the framework of the simplest one-dimensional model of a fluidized bed as a medium consisting of two interpenetrating interacting fluids, it is shown that linear thermomechanical oscillations can occur if the gas viscosity depends on the temperature and a nonisothermic chemical reaction takes place in the fluidized bed.
