    Results of experiments performed following the so called multiple- indicator dilution technique have been evaluated by a space-distributed modification of the classical compartmental analysis. The evaluations are applied in the case of hepatic lactate metabolism. An organ (i.e. the liver) is considered as a collection of capillaries. Firstly, basic equations of the motion of perfusate in a single capillary are derived and subsequently an evaluation of the impulse response of a whole organ is carried out. In the reviewer's opinion, some parts of this work could be given a more exact and clear formulation.
