Der Autor untersucht detailliert mit Hilfe von Frickeschen Spurpolynomen das Konjugationsproblem in SL(2,\({\mathbb{Z}})\) als Untergruppe der GL(2,\({\mathbb{Z}})\). Der bekannte Zusammenhang mit dem Klassenzahlproblem reeller quadratischer Zahlkörper erlaubt nun die Berechnung der Klassenzahlen gewisser reeller quadratischer Zahlkörper.
