Error-free computation of a reflexive generalized inverse (Q1060536)

Accurate solution of linear least squares problems with rational entries requires the computation of error free reflexive generalized inverses. In this paper, a method is given to this purpose. The authors make use of multiple-modulus residue arithmetic to give a simple form of the inverse, where no a priori information about the relevant matrix is necessary. The algorithm has been programmed in FORTRAN and the results were satisfactory.
