The paper studies asymptotic distribution of the spectrum of linear and polynomial pencils of operators perturbed by an analytic operator function in an infinite sector. These are used to investigate the asymptotics of spectrum of boundary values for partial differential equations which depend on spectral parameter in nonlinear way.
