The problem of heat transfer in the flow of an incompressible second- order fluid due to torsional oscillations of two infinite discs has been considered by expanding the flow and temperature parameters in powers of the amplitude of oscillation. The effects of second-order forces on the temperature for different values of Reynolds number have been shown graphically. The results are compared with those of Newtonian fluid.
